This past weekend when my friend Amanda was in town, we caught the tail end of In Plain Sight on USA. Goodbye everything else, I have found a new addiction. After simply watching fifteen minutes, we proceeded to watch almost a full season on Netflix.
Thank God this show is on Netflix, it is too amazing! As is this show. Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack) is a US Marshall who helps guide witnesses into the Witness Protection Program. She is filled with an incredibly attitude problem, sarcasm and strange dichotomy of complete lack of confidence while exuding it. She is in essence, most women but with a badge and gun. Mary's partner is the also amazing Marshall Mann (Fred Weller) who is just like Mary with a tinge of optimism. They pair perfectly and the show is a wonderful combination of humor, drama and sarcasm. What more could you want?
